DOCUMENTING ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SUNSET

If something could make me feel emotional. This is it.

We spent the past 3 days in between Queenstown and Christchurch. After we finished first day of shooting under cloudy weather at Queenstown we headed to the town centre to have dinner as usual. At about 9 o’clock, Eva (our makeup artist) and I decided to go for a walk while waiting for Denny & Nancy as well as Nancy’s mum and Cos to finish their meal.

And as we were walking we discovered something special…

While walking, the entire Queenstown was covered by clouds of fire and this stunning sunset. People were all discussing and giving praise to the beautiful sunset. Amazed, captivated, people slowly gathered around the lakeside, enjoying this peaceful moment.

Many were sitting around the lakeside.

Sill.

Quiet.

Silent.

We didn’t want to move as we were afraid we would break the peace.

Simply nobody wanted to miss this sunset.

Many were with their cameras…

Photography skills was irrelevant.

The beauty of the stunning sunset created by God is self-explanatory enough, regardless what camera you use.

It was extremely peaceful, to the extent of allowing one to sense its hidden sadness.

If something could make me feel emotional. This is it.
